How to Update Nameservers

Nameservers control where your domain points on the internet. If you want to connect your domain to Envosta’s hosting or switch from another provider, updating your nameservers is a required step.

Envosta Nameservers

Use the following nameservers for any domain you want to point to your Envosta hosting:

ns1.envosta.net
ns2.envosta.net

These nameservers route traffic through our infrastructure, giving you access to our DNS control, SSL setup, and full-speed hosting environment.

Where to Update Them

You’ll need to log in to the control panel of the domain registrar where your domain was purchased (such as GoDaddy, Namecheap, or Google Domains).

  1. Log in to your registrar account
  2. Select the domain you want to connect
  3. Look for DNS Settings or Nameservers
  4. Replace any existing nameservers with:
ns1.envosta.net
ns2.envosta.net

Click save and wait for DNS propagation, which typically completes within 1–24 hours.

How to Confirm It Worked

  • After 1–2 hours, check your domain in a browser
  • If the Envosta default page or your site loads, it’s working
  • Or use tools like whatsmydns.net to check global propagation
