Installing Themes and Plugins Safely
Themes and plugins are what make WordPress so powerful — but poorly coded or outdated ones can cause security issues, slow down your site, or even crash it. Here’s how to safely install the tools you need.

Installing Themes
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard
- Go to Appearance > Themes
- Click Add New and browse or search the theme library
- Click Install and then Activate
Tip: Stick to themes from the official WordPress repository, Envosta’s approved themes (like Kadence or Astra), or reputable vendors only.
Installing Plugins
- In your dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New
- Use the search bar to find the plugin you need
- Click Install Now, then Activate
Only install plugins you trust. Free plugins from unknown sources may contain malware or cause compatibility issues.
