How to Enable Free SSL for Your Website

Every Envosta hosting plan includes a free SSL certificate to keep your site secure. SSL encrypts your traffic, builds trust with visitors, and displays the padlock icon in the browser bar.

What Is SSL and Why Does It Matter?

  • Protects visitor data by encrypting information in transit
  • Improves trust with customers by showing a secure padlock
  • Boosts SEO — Google favors HTTPS-secured sites

How to Activate Your Free SSL

  1. Log in to your Envosta dashboard at envosta.com/login
  2. Go to Services > Your Hosting Plan
  3. Click SSL Certificates from the sidebar
  4. Click Enable Free SSL
  5. Wait a few moments for installation to complete

Once activated, your site will automatically redirect from http:// to https://

Automatic Renewals

Envosta’s free SSL (powered by Let’s Encrypt) renews automatically every 90 days, so you never have to worry about expiration.
