Accessing File Manager & SFTP

Whether you're editing your theme files, uploading custom code, or managing site assets directly, you can access your files securely through either the built-in File Manager or SFTP connection.

Option 1: Using the File Manager

1. Log in at envosta.com/login
2. Go to Services > Your Hosting Plan
3. Click File Manager in the sidebar
4. Browse, edit, rename, or upload files directly in your browser

This is great for quick edits and lightweight file access without extra software.

Option 2: Connecting via SFTP

For advanced users, we recommend using SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) with a client like FileZilla or Cyberduck.

Basic SFTP Settings

Host: yourdomain.com  
Port: 22  
Protocol: SFTP  
Username: (provided in your hosting panel)  
Password: (or use SSH key authentication)

Some plans may require SSH key access. If unsure, contact us for setup.

Best Practices

• Always create a backup before editing core files
• Use SFTP over FTP for secure transfers
• Keep a local copy of any changes
